That’s pretty much the theme here in Washington for the last couple days; and I’m sick of it! Well unless there’s a huge snowball fight going on! :) Check out my video montage from the record-breaking Washington Blizzard.

Over 16,000 hits!

May 9, 2008

By far the most popular video on the Pharaoh’s Protege Video Blog is that of my cousin Gavrielle singing the song ‘He knows my name’.

The video reached a milestone this week with over sixteen thousand hits. This means that over sixteen thousand people have been blessed by her beautiful voice ever since the video was uploaded one year ago.

Easter!

March 22, 2008

More than two thousand years ago, a man by the name of Jesus died for me. Died, so that I can live. Yes, so that I can live; so that you can live, so that we can live!

Who was Jesus? In his book ‘Vintage Jesus‘, Pastor Mark Discroll describes Him as a man “…born in a dumpy, rural, hick town… who’s mother was a poor, unwed teenage girl who was mocked for claiming she conceived via the Holy Spirit. He (Jesus) was later adopted by a simple carpenter named Joseph…and around the age of thirty began a public ministry of preaching, healing the sick, feeding the hungry and befriending social misfits such as perverts, drunks and thieves. His three short years of ministry ended tragically when he was put to death for declaring Himself to be God.”

This death is known as the Crucification of Christ and is celebrated by millions of Christians around the world at Easter time.

Below is a video in honor of the Love that sacrificed His life for our sake. It features footage from a reenactment of the crucification of Christ on my visit to the Holy Land Experience a few years ago.

Yea Redskins!

December 7, 2007

As luck would have it, every time I go to one of the games, (basketball or football) my team (Washington Wizards or Redskins) would win….

Final Score: Washington Redskins 24, Chicago Bears 16
Hail to the Redskins! Hail Victory! Braves on the Warpath! Fight for old D.C.! Run or pass and score — we want a lot more! Beat ‘em, Swamp ‘em, Touchdown! — Let the points soar! Fight on, fight on ‘Til you have won Sons of Wash-ing-ton. Rah!, Rah!, Rah!
Hail to the Redskins! Hail Victory! Braves on the Warpath! Fight for old D.C.!
