My secret, my Achilles’ heel
February 21, 2010
I’ve seen much progress in the past three months as a result of an intense exercise routine. To be specific, I’ve lost 6% body fat and 10lbs. There is, however, one area of my body that I’m sure that many would identify with that has been most problematic in terms of weight and fat loss: my stomach area.
While in my upper abdominals, there exists two of what would eventually be part a six-pack ab, I still need to lose a few pounds in my lower abs. The problem is that I do not do enough abdominal exercises, and when I do, I sometimes cheat.
So why is this is a secret? I have not articulated this to my Personal Trainer; the reason being that I HATE HATE HATE abdominal exercise. It hurts, it’s exhausting and it’s hard work, hard work and hard work.
Hard work, one author said, is the price one has to pay for success. It’s simple (at least in theory), I’m going to have put in some hard work if I want to see results. That, in itself is a principle for success in everyday living. Starting tomorrow, I AM going to step up my abdominal routine.

I worked out in the gym yesterday and played basket ball too! It was like I was sent to the twilight zone…my dream hell usually involves physical activity
