• Ephesians 4:2- Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.

• Romans 12:12- Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction…

• Psalms 37:8- Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret–it leads only to evil.

2 Corinthians 6:4-6: In everything we do, we show that we are true ministers of God. We patiently endure troubles and hardships and calamities of every kind.

(5) We have been beaten, been put in prison, faced angry mobs, worked to exhaustion, endured sleepless nights, and gone without food.
